  • You're Scenario C (Small Shop) if your typical order is 1-3 units at a time. Evaluate whether the time you spend cross-referencing parts costs more than the premium for having a common model in stock. It does. Just stock it.

At the end of the day, there's no universal "Tecumseh best model" list that works for everyone. But if you can answer one question honestly – what's my biggest hidden cost: unit price, rework labor, or downtime? – you'll know exactly which route to take.
